She's a Shopper!

Chloe spent the day in Branson with Honey and Precious. She was a natural shopper and bravely gave up her nap for all the fun and attention!

Hats Off!

We had a great visit with Chloe this weekend with lots of time to just play. Chloe was proud of her patriotic swimsuit but got quite mad at the idea of wearing a sun hat! Once she was outside, she never noticed the hat again and the tears melted very quickly. She got carried away showing us how she could kick in the water and fell backwards. She didn't cry and she didn't seem bothered by her first underwater tump. We caught it on a video that I'll post.
She is drinking from the sippy cup much better and is eating what she likes - for example peanut butter and jelly sandwich, cinnamin rolls, cake...etc. At times she eats babyfood squash, yogurt, bananas, cheerios quite well. She loves to go out to eat and will eat in a restaurant when she won't eat at home. She loves to watch all the people and on Saturday night, she enjoyed the big screens in a sports bar.
She will pull up into a standing position, but still doesn't like it. Physical therapy is hard and her moma reports that she cries for the entire 45 minute sessions. She still gets stretched at home and spends an hour a day in the stander.
She plays peek a boo with anything she has in her hand, whether it hides her or not. She is so much fun and made my heart melt when she gave me a deliberate hug.

Chloe's first boatride!

Chloe spent her first day at the lake with Jeremy and Melissa. She loves their new boat and was only unhappy when it stopped. Perhaps she will be inspired to walk sooner so she can attempt wakeboarding? She is already blessed with many good friends and good times!

Fancy pants

Showing off her SOOIE bloomers is cute but Look! she is putting weight on her legs!!! Her moma says she doesn't like it yet but she will stand supported by the furniture. She continues to go to therapy every day and do stretches and the stander at home. She is gradually eating better, but isn't excited about the sippy cup. She isn't 19 pounds yet but she certainly looks healthy. Her moma still has a month to get her completely off the bottle and ready for surgery. In the meantime she is happy and enjoying swimming and swinging! She says mama and will tell you bye. She has a great sense of humor that includes a fake laugh.

Weekend in Monticello

Chloe spent the weekend in Monticello with Honey and Jeff. She began the weekend with a dip in a swimming pool. She had visits from Honey's family and friends as well as a belated birthday party!
