Wyatt is 3 Months!

Wyatt begins going to Day Care with Chloe today!  He proved he was ready for action this weekend when he rolled over!  He is twelve weeks old.

When at home, Chloe plays with babies, cooks in her kitchen, reads books (her interpretation), and loves to dress up.  She often combines several layers such as in this picture.  Below the Razorback cheerleader costume is a pair of pajamas.  Note the two bows in her hair and of course the purple necklace.  The night before she wore two princess dresses at the same time! 

On the rare(?) occasion that Chloe gets into trouble, her mother will place a favorite toy on the top of the refrigerator.  This week, Mommy added a variation to the punishment, by asking Chloe to select the toy to spend the day on top of the refrig.  After searching, Chloe finally entered the kitchen with the selected toy.  She presented a toy that belonged to Wyatt, but Mom wasn't fooled and insisted it be one of her toys.  She was indignant and replied, "BUT my toys are all so BEAUTIFUL!"

I was showing Chloe some cool slippers that Aunt Debi had made for us.  Hers had a C, Mommy's had a N and Grandbec's had a B.  After admiring all of them, she asked, "Where's Daddy's?"  She seemed so concerned that he had been left out so I quickly explained that they were only for girls.  She immediately turned to her Dad and in a very sassy  voice informed him "Aunt Debi made us slippers and you don't get any cause you are a boy!"  She gets teased so often by Dad that she was real proud of herself for teasing him.  Of course he got the last laugh as he said the C slippers were for him - the C was not for Chloe but for Cool dad. Poor thing she couldn't think of a comeback.  But I have faith that one day she'll have more comebacks than Dad!

More December Good Times

Chloe hasn't acted jealous of her new brother and seems to enjoy the extra attention he brings to her family.  She does get in his face smothering him with her love!

At 8 weeks, Wyatt weighed 13.2 pounds and the doctor cut back the amount of milk he was drinking! He's got some fat rolls and still has that linebacker build he was born with. Totally healthy and spoiled!

This is a happy boy!

Christmas Day

 Santa brought Chloe just what she asked for...a dirty beaver, baby doll with a stroller, bed, and carrier, Arial and Flounder.  She was thrilled to have a matching headband with her new baby (she named Ella) and stopped opening presents so she could change into the the Tinkerbell costume from Sawyer and family!  She spent the afternoon at Grammy's and Grandpa's.  They gave her a princess castle and wagon.

Christmas with Grandad and Grandbec was held a few days before Santa visited.  Chloe wore her new princess dress, earrings, and high heels and used her magic wand to poof each of us into whatever she wished. She selected each outfit and wore the pink high heels with everything!  When Uncle Jeff and Popa visited, Chloe was thrilled to play playdough with Jeff.  Wyatt just enjoyed being held and his bath!
