Wyatt's First Birthday Cake

After eating a good bit of icing, Wyatt decided it was time to start smashing his cake!  He had a great day celebrating with family and friends.  He isn't walking yet but stands without support. He says ma ma and da da and has said bye bye once.  He mostly hollors or grunts when he wants something.  Loves to laugh and  has a fake sounding deep laugh at times.  He will eat most anything put in front of him and only takes one bottle at night now.  He really enjoys Chloe and laughs easily at anything she does.  What joy Wyatt has brought to us in his first year!!

Wyatt is 9 months

Wyatt is 9 months old  Check out those two teeth!  He crawls and pulls up with ease.  He has even been discovered on the third step of the stairs.

Waterpark Fun

Chloe and Wyatt spent a fun day at the waterpark with Jack and Caroline.  Good times with great friends!

July 4

 

July 4th was spend with Grandad and Granbec and the day ended with a stroll at the Ouachita River Park.  Wyatt tasted his first watermelon and thought it was SWEET! (He also ate his first blueberry and seems to be liking real food.)  Of course by the time he'd had his fill of the watermelon, he was covered in the sticky juicy and even had a bit tucked in his neck.

Great Day at the Lake

No one had more fun than Chloe at the Lake! Wyatt wasn't too happy to wear a life jacket for the first time and was really jealous when Bella got more bottles than he did!  Time with Jeremy and Melissa has always been especially fun for Chloe!

Wyatt is 8 months old

Weighing in at 18 pounds and having two teeth, Wyatt is 8 months old.  He crawls everywhere and can pull himself up on his knees.  (He actually has made it to his toes a few times.)  He flies right past his toys to the electric plugs, outlets, cords, and his favorite, the dogs' water bowl.  (He has just poured out Retta's water in the following picture.)  He laughs at Chloe and is very demanding of attention from Mom and Dad.  Still LOVES his bottle, but sleeps in his crib with no problems.

Wyatt Baptism June 16

Central United Methodist Church in Rogers.  What a show man!! He was asleep in his moma's arms and woke up in a strange man's and didn't scream.  He smiled as he was displayed down the aisles for the congregation to see and was a true politician in the receiving line after church.  His big sister loved the attention and thought Wyatt's picture on the big screens was cool.

It does appear that Chloe has lost her camera shyness!

He's a crawler!

Wyatt is officially crawling and going right past his toys to get to Chloe's!  "No BROTHER!" can be heard frequently.

Saturday Morning at Farmers' Market

Drive-Through Safari

The Drive-Through Safari was fun for Chloe even though a few animals made her a bit nervous.  The petting zoo was not scary at all and she made friends with a pig!  Wyatt didn't think it was much fun to stay in his car seat.

Chloe celebrates her 4th Birthday

Chloe had a manicure party with a few girlfriends on Saturday (see video) and then celebrated with family and friends on Sunday.  As always, she had fun and enjoyed all the playmates.

Chloe performs in Secret Agent, Staying Alive, Annie, and Pizza Roll. In the last picture, Chloe is the one doing her "own thing."

Wyatt is 6 Months

From One month to six months, Wyatt is growing up fast!  He wants to sit up and crawl, and rolls himself out of his wedge.  He will now get to discover baby food with more taste than cereal.  He smiles and laughs and even watches TV.  He loves to eat and especially likes a big supper, followed by a fun bath and then a nap on someone's lap.  In the bath his legs kick constantly.  Watch out Chloe - in six more months he's going to chase you!
