Weekend Mornings with Pearl

This weekend Chloe spent a lazy morning watching cartoons in bed.  Pearl was her pillow!  She's been telling lots of tall tales lately.  On the phone, she told her Grandad that she had 12 kids at her house that she had to go feed.  She had two imaginary friends that her mother could see, but not Daddy.  She also said Lali had a broken hand, but couldn't go to the hospital until after they went shopping.

Easter Egg Hunting

 Chloe loved finding eggs outside and in the house.  She had an unusual way of looking under the furniture-check her out bending over and looking through her legs!  Since there were jelly beans inside her plastic eggs, it took her a long time to gather her eggs.  She would open each egg and eat the jelly bean before she would move on to find more.

Easter Morning

Chloe now rides her 4-wheeler in a  side-saddle style.  She is enjoying the warm weather and playing in her backyard.  She heard some music from a radio and took off her dress so she could dance!  I'm not sure why she associated being naked with dancing but it made her happy.

Before the parties.

 Chloe and her mom went to two parties on Saturday and afterwards Chloe had a good nap.  She loved the pinwheel party favor and even slept with it!

After the parties. 

While eating supper one night this past week, she started screaming and crying.  Pearl had come through the room with Chloe's favorite little stuffed rabbit (Lolly) in her mouth.  Moma took Lolly away from Pearl and reassured Chloe that she was fine with only a wet booty.  Later, Chloe fussed at Pearl by saying, "NO Pearlie!  You know you are not ever suppose to put anybody's Lolly in your mouth!  I've told you THREE times - NO Pearlie."  She's quite the boss of Pearl.  Poor Pearl must be very confused as earlier Chloe was using Pearl's food bowl as a bed for Lolly.
