Chloe loves the ballpark but wanted to leave before the Fireworks. They are loud and scarry!!

Fortunately, the fireworks were at the end of the game so she had time to consume popcorn and ice cream.  She is quite proud of getting her picture made with the mascot and called to tell about it.

Chloe visits the Tulsa Zoo

She woke up at 6:30 AM saying, "Wake UP - we are going to the Zoo today!!!" 

Chloe did have a big time at the Tulsa Zoo. For a year she has remembered  the gorilla  at the Little Rock Zoo was stinky, so she went in hopes of telling the gorilla, "YOU STINK!"  Lucky for the gorilla-she didn't see him.  She did see monkeys, elephants and giraffes and got to ride a train and the leopard on the carousel.

After a lunch of chicken and french fries and attending the Sea Lions show, she was ready for a long snooze during the ride home!  She's snuggled up with a stuffed giraffe.  Dad tried to buy her a larger one and she insisted on the little one.

This past week Chloe had her three year check up at the doc's office.  She made it to 5%  in height and to 16% in weight for her age!  She has certainly grown this year.

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Chloe began her birthday opening presents from her Dad and Mom.  She was thrilled with 'Lady' whom she proclaimed as the best pet she had.  She couldn't believe her new LaLa Loopsy house was just for her and spent a good bit of the morning playing in it.  Grandad arrived and she received her very own trampoline which was in her backyard in time for the party.

Since it was a Three Little Pig party everyone enjoyed the piggie cupcakes.

It's been a great day!

She did open most of her own presents, but hid her face in her Daddy's shoulder when everyone sang Happy Birthday.  She told me later that night that she "didn't like that part!"

2012

Chloe will turn three years old this week!  Wow!  That tiny frail baby has grown strong.  How blessed we are to have her in our lives!  Can't wait for the birthday party on the 19th!

Riding the Dora Trike

Chloe is learning to ride her Dora Trike even though her legs aren't quite long enough to reach the petals.  She loved coasting downhill and would throw her legs up and scream Wheeeeeeee!

Pearl's Birthday Party is NO Fun

Pearl's  birthday party stared off well with everyone wearing party hats.  Chloe's mom reported, "it was all fun and games until Retta started trying to eat Chloe's ice cream cone.  They double-teamed her...one knocked her down and the other grabbed the cone from behind.  She cried and cried until we gave her some more."
