Bunny is Back

Chloe is so happy to see Bunny.  He's been lost in Dad's truck and after a bath he was ready for hugs and kisses.

Taking care of Vern

This past week, I worked in Northwest Arkansas so Vern and I stayed with Chloe.  As you can see, Chloe thought Vern needed bedtime stories when she tried to sleep.  Chloe continues to learn how to be gentle with old dog Vern!  Chloe and her mom treated me to Yum Yos for a build-your-own frozen yogurt treat.  Chloe doesn't care for the cold yogurt so she just gets a cup of fruit and candy toppings!  She had three jelly beans and started screaming when she bit into the red one.  It was a hot cinnamon flavor and it made her HOT.  I fear that she will avoid jelly beans for the rest of her life!

Chloe got a new shopping cart as it was reported that in therapy she pushes one while walking.  So far at home, her only interest in the shopping cart has been to put baby to sleep in it.  She loves Yo Gabba Gabba and threw a fit when she couldn't continue to listen to it on her mom's phone.  (She will be thrilled to learn that she will get to go to a live Yo Gabba Gabba  concert in December!) 

It was great to be a part of her daily routine and to see her daycare.  She's my special girl and it is very difficult to say good bye !

Weekend fun

After a fun-filled weekend of bubbles, the zoo, and being spoiled by Granbec and Grandad, Chloe had to make a trip to Children's hospital for new tubes in her ears.  She got through the procedure with no problems and the doc says she will feel much better with these longer tubes.  She weighed in at 22 pounds so she's gaining again.

She is pulling up and standing regularly.  Her teacher thinks she will walk by July 4!  Hope So!

Memorial Day at the Zoo

What a fun day at the Little Rock Zoo! Chloe really liked the giraffe and the zebras.  She seemed unimipressed with the penguins, but probably because they were swimming under water and not standing or waddling.  She enjoyed the train ride so much that she threw a fit when she had to get off!  Check out the video of her carousel ride-she laughed and screamed when she would pass us.

Chloe meets Caroline!

Chloe went to see her friend for life, Caroline.  She admits that is was unsettling to see HER Moma, Granbec, and Honey(Lindsey) holding and loving on another baby, but she is looking forward to seeing Caroline again.  Chloe loved the attention from Precious (Caroline's grandmom) and certainly found Caroline's basket of toys entertaining.
