Chloe is in the air!
Chloe's trip to LR was not urgent so she could have made the road trip, but was lucky to catch a ride back to Children's in the helicopter. Dad is half way to LR so should be there to greet her. Mom just watched her take off (approx. 11:30) and will travel with me down there. So it will be this evening before we really have an update. The pediatrician was confident that the speech therapist specialist would be able to help with the feeding and suggested that they might do a little surgery for a feeding tube in her side. He was also hopeful that some of the other concerns would get attention quicker. I'm passing on the kind messages that I'm receiving, and please know that we are all appreciative.

Hello Chloe, Natalie, and Dad,
ReplyDeleteAbby called and told me when Chloe was born and that she was going to Childrens. Childrens is a wonderful hospital. Abby has been there twice, with broke arms. And Alex once for something????
Abby's cousin Dana's son, Reece, was also at Childrens. And Emma had tests done when she was 2 weeks. So, I think you will be pleased. There are alot of children with problems and sometimes it is hard, but the murals on the walls and the attitudes of all make it somewhat better than the BIG hospital.
There are two girls from Stuttgart that work there. Rachel Jackson, she went to U of A. She was a Kappa. She is a year older than Abby. Candice used to be Terry, also works there. I think she is a physical therapist. May you will see them. See, someone from Stuttgart, well that is sort of close to Malvern.
I know that it is a very scary time for little Chloe. (By the way she is beautiful!!!!) I know that it is hard, but take all your fears and give them to the Lord. God has entrusted Chloe with you and he knows with the power of love and prayer you will get through this difficult time.
You are not alone. Your loving family, friends and the hospital will be there for you. Just lend on them and let them love and help you. Get your strength from them and you will get stronger. You can pass your strength to Chloe through hugs, kisses and prays.
We hope to see your precious family very soon! Abby is coming after work.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Chloe!
