Big Girl Days

Here she is...my big grangirl!!  There is much to catch up on since the last post so let's start with Chloe is now wearing pretty panties instead of diapers! She has also been seen with the panties on her head for a creative hat.  She shocked us all one night in a restaurant when she whipped a pair out of her purse, waved them around and placed them on the table. When she wasn't convinced  that potty-training was a good idea, she would hide her panties so mom couldn't find them.  Who knew what fun panties could be?!  She also reminded us all to be careful. When saying good-bye on the phone one night she said, "Granbec and Grandad - DON'T poop in your panties."

Big Girl has also changed daycare and  adjusted with ease.  She shed a few tears the first couple days, but Dad  is used to those tears as Chloe typically cries on Mondays and Tuesdays as she is sad for every weekend to end.  Having taken great care of Chloe for over two years, her old school had a party for her on her last day. She was a little sad.

Since Big Girl has a baby brother coming in two months, she has left the nursery behind.  She now has her own big girl room with a big bed and girly colors.  She had no trouble adapting to the big bed and sleeps all night in it.  The pink nursery is now blue!

Big Girl went to Little Rock to see Grandad in the hospital and leaned right down to kiss him on the nose!  Nothing made him feel better than the visit from Chloe!  She certainly has lost much of her shyness.  She walked right up to a priest at the hospital and said, "HI Doctor!"  Even though she is a little confused, it is great to see her talk to people instead of hiding from them.
