It's a new year!

He is such a heavy drinker! Wyatt is now 14 months old and very mobile. He no longer gets a bottle at bedtime and as you can see, is a healthy eater. At meal time, after being stripped down to only a diaper, he shoves food in his mouth with much pleasure. His exuberance can be messy! He waves bye-bye, blows kisses, jabbers with meaning and says a few understandable words. He knows what he likes and will throw a fit if necessary to communicate his displeasure. He has developed an attitude which helps him deal with his big sister. He learns much from her and the two of them really enjoy each other at times. He was pleased with all the Christmas festivities except sitting on Santa's lap. He loves to Skype or Facetime and doesn't understand when there is no one waiting to talk to him on the laptop. Recently, he began to show off toys to us by bringing them to the laptop - so let the fun begin as he learns to communicate. His latest trick is to turn circles and get dizzy. Wyatt's laugh is fabulas and heard often as he is a happy little boy (not baby?).

Big Girl Chloe is 4 1/2 and this smile says it all...she is happy and busy all the time.  She goes to preschool at least three days a week, playing with Wyatt and Moma on the other days.  Her vocabulary continues to grow - she loves to talk and tell a tale or pretend-read a story.  She writes names and the alphabet and colors very well.  Dressing up is still important.   Even though she has outgrown the favorite princess dresses, she now twirls in a pretty pink tutu!  Her collection of stuffed toys continues to grow as there can't be many types of animals that she does not have.  Even though her favorite animal changes often, her long-standing favorite Blanky is still by her side at bedtime.  She performs good boogies and has learned to imitate NFL players with poses.  She is amazing thoughtful about how her Grandad feels and still makes Granbec scream with excitement every time she arrives.
